Central Kitchen – DIP
This complex and multifaceted project involves the construction of a large-scale facility serving as a hub for food production and distribution across the city. Designed to cater to a wide range of food businesses, from small cafés to large restaurants, the facility provides a reliable and efficient source of high-quality food products.
Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including advanced food preparation and cooking equipment, automated storage and retrieval systems, and a sophisticated inventory management system, the kitchen is optimised for space and resource utilisation. The design focuses on maximising efficiency while reducing waste and operating costs.
ECEC delivered a tailored design, working closely with stakeholders to meet the facility’s unique requirements. This included detailed assessments of electrical and plumbing needs, the design of efficient HVAC and fire protection systems, and ensuring full compliance with local regulations.
Built around the brief
Each ECEC engagement is shaped by the constraints, programme, and ambition of the project itself. From early-stage MEP coordination through to delivery, our work prioritises engineering decisions that serve the design intent and the operator's long-term needs.
