DMA Madina Resort
Set within a striking natural landscape east of Al Madinah Al Munawwarah, DAN Madinah is a branded hospitality destination spanning approximately 1,000,000 sqm, with 300,000 sqm allocated for development. It offers a rare, nature-driven tourism experience framed by mountains, natural wadis, open plains, and volcanic rock formations. Located approximately 33–36 km from Madinah City and the airport, the destination combines privacy and tranquility with immersive natural surroundings and convenient regional accessibility.
The planning approach responds directly to the site’s natural characteristics by incorporating existing wadis and natural drainage corridors, ensuring exclusivity through a single controlled access point, and enabling long-term flexibility through open landscapes, buffer zones, shared arrival areas, and designated zones for future expansion. This approach preserves the distinct identity of each resort while achieving operational efficiency.
The masterplan brings together three distinct yet integrated resort experiences: an Agritourism Resort featuring luxury farm-based villas with private gardens and pools inspired by local traditions and agricultural heritage; an Ecotourism Resort focused on wellness, sustainability, and a strong connection to nature through thoughtfully integrated guestrooms and villas; and an Adventure Resort centered on outdoor exploration and engagement with the site’s mountainous terrain. Collectively, these components provide 201 keys within a unified hospitality offering.
Built around the brief
Each ECEC engagement is shaped by the constraints, programme, and ambition of the project itself. From early-stage MEP coordination through to delivery, our work prioritises engineering decisions that serve the design intent and the operator's long-term needs.
