Emirates Central Kitchen at Al Maktoum Airport
The Emirates Central Kitchen is a state-of-the-art 12,500 m² facility designed to meet the catering demands of Emirates flights. Equipped with advanced systems, it enables large-scale preparation of high-quality meals while prioritising efficiency and sustainability.
Our MEP design incorporated high-efficiency HVAC systems, advanced refrigeration and cooking equipment, and water-efficient fixtures to minimise waste and environmental impact. The kitchen also includes employee amenities such as spacious break rooms, fitness facilities, and relaxation areas. Its open-plan design fosters collaboration and communication, enhancing operational efficiency.
At ECEC, we delivered complete MEP and ICT design services, ensuring that every system was optimised for peak performance. The result is a world-class facility that sets new standards for industrial catering operations.
Built around the brief
Each ECEC engagement is shaped by the constraints, programme, and ambition of the project itself. From early-stage MEP coordination through to delivery, our work prioritises engineering decisions that serve the design intent and the operator's long-term needs.
